Finally we got back into action after some serious waterlogging, with all teams playing bar the 5th XI. The 1st XI lost 3-0 in the Middlesex & Essex Senior Cup against a very strong Old Hamptonians side who will give their semi-final oppo a tough tie.
The 2nd XI worked hard for their win at Lyonians, finally coming through 4-1 in what was a much tighter affair than the scoreline implies. Kudos to Kyri and the lads for focussing on their title push after some blank weeks which sometimes can derail a team's momentum.
The mighty 3s under Mark Tansley walloped Norsemen 5-2 on what was a mudbath of a pitch. Probably one of those games that should not have been played but at least we got all 3 points.
The 4s won 1-0 in a tight match, again at Norsemen, again on a muddy pitch, and kept up their decent run of late in the League. They now

sit comfortably in mid table and are looking upwards rather than down.
